How to choose a set you will still be wearing on day twelve
Fit matters more than shape. Measure the widest point of each nail bed in millimetres and match it to the range: XS is 7–9 mm, S is 9–11 mm, M is 11–13 mm and L is 13–17 mm. Every box contains the full size run, so you fit each finger individually rather than buying one size for the whole hand. Between two sizes, take the larger and file the sides — a tip that is too narrow leaves the glue bridging a gap and lifts within days.
Getting the full 10 to 14 days. Buff the shine off the nail plate, wipe with the prep pad and let it dry. Apply a thin layer of glue to both surfaces — the nail plate and the inside of the tip — then press from cuticle to free edge and hold for 30 seconds per nail. Avoid hot water for the first two hours. With the adhesive tabs instead of glue, expect 1 to 3 days, which suits a single event.
Removal takes 10 to 15 minutes. Soak your hands in warm soapy water until the edges feel loose, then slide a wooden stick under one side and lift gently. Never pry a tip off dry. Buff away the residue, wash your hands and apply cuticle oil — nothing is filed, drilled or dissolved, so the natural nail comes back exactly as it went in.
